Eastern Airways flying from Glasgow to Stavanger

Eastern Airways has introduced a new service linking Glasgow to Stavanger in southern Norway.
The route was launched yesterday (12 September) and will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Flights will depart Glasgow at 10:20 on Mondays and Wednesdays, arriving in Stavanger at 13:20 local time, while the Friday service will set off from the Scottish airport at 11:00.
Kay Ryan, Eastern Airways' commercial director, said the airline could increase frequency if it receives high demand from customers.
Managing director Amanda McMillan said Glasgow airport was 'absolutely thrilled' to welcome the airline's first international connection from the base.
She added: 'The new route is fantastic news for leisure travellers who would like to visit Norway's spectacular fjords and waterfalls and for business travellers who want easier access to Stavanger, one of Europe's most famous oil and gas capitals.'
Eastern Airways also operates flights to the Scandinavian city from Aberdeen and Newcastle airports.
