One of Seattle's most popular attractions, the Pacific Science Center, is set to launch two new exhibits this autumn.

Design Zone will provide fun and fascinating information on topics such as the technology and processes required to create everything from video games to rollercoasters.

The new display area will comprise 26 interactive stations divided into three categories: engineering and speed; art, architecture and video game design; and music and sound.

Travellers visiting the Pacific Science Center later this year will also be able to check out Puzzle Palooza Featuring Groovik's Cube, which is described as a 'wonderfully challenging' world of riddles, conundrums and brainteasers.

At the heart of the exhibit is the giant interactive puzzle Groovik's Cube, which is illuminated by LED lights and moved using controllers on the ground.

Both new exhibits are due to open on 1 October this year.

Visitors will find the Pacific Science Center under the arches near the Space Needle in Seattle.
