Legoland Florida prepares for grand opening

Families planning a holiday in the US will soon have a brand new attraction to visit - Legoland Florida.
The park - which is located in Winter Haven, 45 minutes away from both Orlando and downtown Tampa - will have its grand opening on 15 October.
Covering a total area of 150 acres, the new attraction is the largest Legoland park in the world.
It boasts more than 50 rides, shows and interactive experiences, as well as restaurants, shopping areas, botanical gardens and other features.
Among the highlights is Miniland USA, which encompasses Lego re-creations of famous American locations and landmarks such as the White House, the Las Vegas Strip, Times Square and the Statue of Liberty.
Visitors will also be able to explore Duplo Village, Pirates' Cove, Land of Adventure and other areas.
The Legoland site is the latest addition to a long list of theme parks in Florida that already includes Walt Disney World, Busch Gardens, SeaWorld Orlando and Gatorland.
