Busch Gardens to debut new ice show

Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, Florida will boost its visitor offering next year with the launch of a brand new ice show entitled Iceploration.
Set to make its debut on 2 February 2012, the production will feature a cast of 20 performers including skaters, aerial acrobats and puppeteers, as well as live animals.
Audiences will be taken on a 30-minute journey to unique locations across the globe, starting with the African Serengeti and the Great Barrier Reef.
The show, which is being developed by a creative team including Tony Award-winning costume designer Gregg Barnes, will also feature the Arctic and the Amazon rainforest.
Performances will take place in Busch Gardens' Moroccan Palace, where construction is already underway to prepare the venue to host Iceploration.
According to operating company SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, the new production will be the latest in a series of 'unforgettable entertainment experiences' at the park, following the likes of KaTonga: Musical Tales from the Jungle and World Rhythms on Ice.
