Inflatable water park opens in El Gouna, Egypt
26 Oct 2011

People planning holidays in El Gouna on Egypt's Red Sea Riviera can look forward to visiting Liquid Park, the first inflatable water park in the Middle East.

The attraction comprises slides, trampolines and other features right on the water.

Announcing the new offering, El Gouna's management company Orascom Hotels & Development said that Liquid Park's lagoon setting provides a 'truly original' backdrop for 'fun in the sun that can be enjoyed by both the young and the young at heart'.

The park is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00 and costs £10 per person.

Children younger than six years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to enter.

El Gouna offers a range of leisure activities, including waterskiing, wakeboarding, kitesurfing, horse riding and golf.

It is one of four destinations currently managed by Orascom Hotels & Development, along with Taba Heights on Egypt's Sinai peninsula, Haram City on the outskirts of Cairo and The Cove in Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates.
