Hyatt opens Andaz Shanghai hotel

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has boosted its portfolio in China with the opening of the Andaz Shanghai.
The 28-storey, 307-room property is located in the Xintiandi neighbourhood, a popular entertainment area near Huai Hai Zong Road, one of the city's main shopping districts.
Amenities include free wireless internet access, LED lighting that allows guests to choose the colour and mood of their room and translucent baths that can be programmed to glow in different hues.
Visitors can also sample culinary offerings at the Andaz Lounge and Hai Pai, a four-level complex comprising a restaurant, bar and private dining rooms.
An indoor pool and 24-hour gym are among the new hotel's current recreation and relaxation facilities, while the Optime Spa is due to open in the near future.
General manager Wilson Lee said the property will allow travellers to experience the Andaz brand's 'personal, flexible, authentic hospitality first hand'.
He added: 'Andaz Shanghai is for people who want to truly discover the city while enjoying all the comforts of a leading international hotel brand.'
