People planning to book flights to Rome for a short break in the near future will have the opportunity to purchase a new card that combines the top attractions in the Italian capital with Vatican City.

The Omnia Vatican and Rome Card provides free travel and entry to two museums and archaeological sites as well as discount entry to other locations.

Holders will receive fast-track access to the Vatican Museums complex, St Peter's Basilica, the Sistine Chapel and famous tourist draws like the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.

A minibus tour with an audio guide is also included, along with information leaflets and a map of Rome.

The new card is available for €85 (£73) for adults and €55 for children between the ages of six and 12 years.

It is available alongside the existing Roma Pass, which costs €25 and provides free entry to two attractions from a range including the Capitoline Museum and the Colosseum.
