Singapore Airshow scheduled for February 2012

Singapore could be the holiday destination of choice for people with an interest in aviation and aeronautics next year owing to a major event set to take place in the Asian city-state.
The Singapore Airshow 2012 will be held at the purpose-built Changi Exhibition Centre, which is ten minutes from the international airport and 20 minutes from the Central Business District, from 14 to 19 February next year.
Members of the public will be able to visit on the last two days, with the first four reserved for trade guests.
According to organisers, the Singapore Airshow is one of the world's top three aviation events and the largest aerospace and defence expo in Asia.
Consumers will be able to check out a range of sights and attractions at the forthcoming show, including aerobatic demonstrations and displays of static aircraft including the Cessna Citation Sovereign, the Dassault Falcon 7X and the Embraer Phenom 100.
There will also be live music, food, fairground rides and much more for members of the public to enjoy.
Tickets cost S$20 (£9.90) for adults and S$8 for children and are currently available to book in advance online at sistic.com.
