London aquarium launching behind-the-scenes tour

Families planning to book hotels in London for a city break next year will have the opportunity to look behind the scenes at one of the capital's top attractions.
The Sea Life London Aquarium is set to launch a tour on 3 January 2012 that will show guests what is required to run one of Europe's biggest marine centres.
Over the course of 40 minutes, participants will see dedicated aquarists working on research and breeding programmes, looking after sick creatures, taking care of new arrivals, preparing food and monitoring the water management systems.
Visitors will also be able to get involved by attempting some tasks and speaking to staff at the centre.
Tours will run regularly throughout the day at a cost of £7.50 for adults and £5 for children, with reservations available online or on entry.
Situated alongside the Thames in County Hall, the Sea Life London Aquarium is home to thousands of marine creatures, including clownfish, crocodiles, turtles and sand tiger sharks.
