Maldives resort launches global cuisine events

Travellers planning a stay at the Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa this year will have the opportunity to try food from across the globe at a series of special events.
Themed nights introduced under the banner A World of Flavours will showcase the national cuisines of countries such as Italy, China and India, as well as Mediterranean and barbecue dishes.
The resort also hosts events inspired by seafood and Maldivian culture at locations such as the Coconut Grove and Anchorage beaches.
Executive assistant food and beverage manager Moon Kang said the new themed evenings have been proving popular with guests.
He added: 'When we are travelling, we either seek comfort foods from home or explore new cuisines and this gives our guests a chance to explore a whole world of flavours.'
Travellers catching flights to Male can reach the Sheraton Maldives by taking a 15-minute boat ride to the resort's private island.
