Walt Disney World appoints British mum as holiday adviser

Walt Disney World appoints British mum as holiday adviser
16 Jan 2012

The Walt Disney World Resort in Florida has appointed British mother-of-one Sue Farrell as one of its newest family holiday advisers.

Mrs Farrell has joined the Walt Disney World Moms Panel, a group of mothers who share advice and tips on how to plan the perfect family trip to the destination through a dedicated website.

She beat thousands of other applicants and went through three rounds of interviews to win her place among 15 new panellists this year.

Fellow British mum Emma Nicholson from Lancashire will be continuing her role in the group in 2012.

Mrs Farrell said she was 'thrilled' to be joining the panel to answer questions that fellow parents have about arranging a holiday to Walt Disney World.

'From which is the best value resort to getting everyone from the airport, I'll be on hand to share my knowledge and guide UK families through the planning process to ensure they have the best holiday possible,' she added.

Located about 21 miles outside Orlando, the resort is home to numerous rides, attractions and areas to explore, including the Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and Epcot theme parks.
