TNT Travel Show aiming to boost profile this year

The TNT Travel Show has appointed lifestyle PR agency Rooster to help broaden the appeal of the event and boost visitor numbers this year.

Reportedly London's biggest free travel expo, the show will take place at Earl's Court on 3 March.

Organisers will be hoping to improve on last year's performance, with 13,000 people visiting in 2011 to gain information, advice and recommendations from a range of exhibitors and tourist boards.

The event mainly attracts younger travellers between the ages of 18 and 39 but also appeals to a growing number of older consumers taking career breaks and belated gap years.

Commenting on the partnership with Rooster, TNT Multimedia chief executive Kevin Ellis said the show has found the 'perfect fit' with the PR agency.

'Its dynamic, creative and eager approach is bang on the money for where we want to go with the show,' he added.

Visitors can get free entry by pre-registering online or pay £2 on the door.
