Radisson Blu hotel marks 6th anniversary, Italian Job-style

People searching for hotels in Birmingham can choose from options such as the Radisson Blu property in the city, which this week marked its sixth anniversary with celebrations partly inspired by much-loved movie The Italian Job.
More than 100 guests arrived at the establishment - including lord mayor Anita Ward - and were greeted by red, white and blue Minis at the entrance.
Lambretta and Vespa scooters were also on display, while visitors were invited to test out their driving skills on a Ferrari simulator before enjoying music provided by pop-opera group Amore Voce.
The food prepared for the occasion was also inspired by Italy, with homemade pizza, mini risottos and a selection of olives and breads all on the menu.
Christopher Pike, general manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Birmingham, said: 'We are all extremely excited to be celebrating our sixth year of business in the city and it is great to be able to celebrate in style with so many of our valued guests and clients.'
The property offers 211 guestrooms and suites in a 39-storey glass building in the centre of Birmingham.
