Fatboy Slim to help kick off summer season at Ibiza hotel

Fatboy Slim will help to get the summer party season underway in Ibiza this year with a show at the Ushuaia hotel on the island.
The property will open its doors to guests on 1 May before playing host to the DJ and other stars from the dance music world on the last weekend in the month.
Luciano and other top DJs from Cadenza Records will get the party underway with sets on the evening of Saturday 26 May, before Fatboy Slim takes to the decks to whip the crowd into a frenzy on the Sunday.
The British musician and producer - whose real name is Norman Cook - has built up a reputation for large and elaborate live shows, having previously projected lasers onto the Great Wall of China and played to 5m people from the top of a giant truck during the Salvador de Bahia Carnival in Brazil.
This year's events will follow on from the Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel's successful first summer season in 2011, when the property had 100% occupancy rates and hosted more than 40 parties.
