Travellers visiting Hong Kong this year will be able to learn more about the recent history of the destination at a new attraction.

Ocean Park unveiled Old Hong Kong last month, presenting an array of sights and features evoking life in the city from the 1950s to the 70s.

Highlights include 'tong lau'-style apartment buildings, a vintage tram and a heritage bus.

Visitors can also pick up some souvenirs and try all sorts of classic snacks and delicacies closely associated with Hong Kong.

Among the other recent additions to the city's tourism industry is Lupa, a restaurant specialising in New York-style Italian cuisine that was opened by American celebrity chefs Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich.

Travellers can also head to Causeway Bay to try the homemade pasta, Italian desserts, wines and other treats on offer at Manzo, while celebrated Spanish chef Paco Roncero will open View 62, his first Hong Kong restaurant, in May.
