Harry Potter exhibition coming to Singapore
2 May 2012

Travellers visiting Singapore this year will have the chance to see Harry Potter: The Exhibition at Marina Bay Sands.

Due to open at the ArtScience Museum on 2 June, the display will showcase authentic costumes and props from the film series for the first time in Asia.

Visitors can look out for Harry's wand and famous glasses, the original costume worn by Alan Rickman in his role as Professor Snape, Hogwarts school uniforms and the Golden Snitch from the book and movie franchise's fictional game of Quidditch.

The exhibition will also feature a range of life-size creatures and monsters, including centaurs, a caged dragon and a giant spider.

Karen McTier of Harry Potter film studio Warner Bros said the company is 'thrilled' to be able to give fans the opportunity to see these exhibits in Singapore.

She added: 'The exhibition turns the masterfully crafted props and costumes from the films into a memorable interactive journey for Harry Potter fans of all ages.'
