Jumeirah, the Dubai-based luxury hospitality group, has opened its first European resort on the island of Mallorca.

The Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa is situated on the bay of Soller and is recommended for holidaymakers who want to experience local traditions while enjoying luxury service and amenities.

Puerto de Soller is a small fishing village in the north-west of the island known for its picturesque bay and attractions such as the Orange Valley Unesco World Heritage site in the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range.

Visitors can make the most of some of the outdoor activities available in the area, such as cycling or walking on the 200km of dedicated tracks along the coast.

Jumeirah's new resort boasts a clifftop location overlooking the bay of Puerto de Soller and offers 120 rooms and suites, two restaurants, four bars, two swimming pools and a spa.

The property also features three terraces where guests can watch the sun go down while sipping cocktails or tucking in to tapas.
