Estonia to host record Routes Europe event

The Routes Europe event will take place in Tallinn, Estonia, this month and is set to welcome a record number of attendees.
Now in its seventh year, the air route development show will host more than 175 delegates representing 85 of the continent's leading airlines at the Radisson Blu Hotel Olumpia at Tallinn Airport.
The figure represents a 35% increase in attendance compared to last year, when the event was held in Cagliari, Italy.
Flag carriers such as Lufthansa, CSA Czech Airlines, Turkish Airlines and Estonian Air will be represented in Tallinn, as well as low-cost and regional operators like easyJet, Norwegian, Air Berlin and Flybe.
David Stroud of industry intelligence provider UBM Aviation said: 'This growth is beyond even our expectations and we are delighted that Routes Europe continues to attract the key decision makers from the region and plays an important role in shaping Europe's future networks.'
Tallinn Airport board member Erik Sakkov said the forthcoming industry event will provide a boost for the travel industry in Estonia and its capital city.
