Flybe begins Tours flights from Southampton

Flybe has expanded its network from Southampton Airport with the launch of a brand new service to Tours in France's Loire valley.
The regional carrier will offer two weekly flights to the destination on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the summer season, with the schedule continuing until 12 September.
Ian Taylor, Flybe's general manager for market development, said the new route highlights the airline's commitment to Southampton Airport, where it is the largest operator.
Dave Lees, managing director of the base on England's south coast, added: 'Tours is expected to be a popular destination for holidaymakers from the south-east looking to enjoy the beautiful Loire valley and we're thrilled to be able to offer this regular Flybe service.'
The introduction of the new destination means that the airline's 2012 summer schedule from Southampton now comprises up to 684 weekly connections across 32 routes.
Other options for travellers include flights to Bordeaux and Perpignan in France, Inverness in Scotland, Verona in Italy and other cities across Europe.
