New food tour launched in Copenhagen

Travellers can now explore Copenhagen's thriving culinary scene on a new tour that has been launched in the city.
CPH Food Tours is offering guided trips taking guests to eight locations around Denmark's capital.
The itinerary begins at the Torvehallerne food halls and gives visitors the opportunity to learn more about the secrets of preparing the dishes they sample along the way.
Highlights of the experience include trying traditional Danish smorrebrod, or open sandwiches, from the Aamands deli and tasting a number of specialties from the island of Bornholm, including organic cheese, soft caramel and jam.
Introducing the new activity, Peter Rasmussen, founder of Copenhagen Food Tours, said: 'Learning about food is synonymous to learning about culture - through food you can appreciate a great deal about the way people live.'
Travellers can catch flights to Copenhagen with SAS or easyJet to visit eateries such as Noma, which has topped the World's 50 Best Restaurants list for the past three years.
