Film fans invited to Reykjavik festival

People with a passion for movies have been encouraged to book hotels in Reykjavik this autumn to check out a festival in Iceland's capital city.
The 2012 Reykjavik International Film Festival will run from 27 September to 7 October.
Visitors can watch Icelandic movies with English subtitles at the Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Marina's in-house theatre, as well as other unusual venues including swimming pools and volcanic caves.
The festival was founded by film enthusiasts and professionals in 2004 and has played host to some well-known figures in recent years, including Wuthering Heights director Andrea Arnold, who attended in 2011.
Accommodation options in the host city include the Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Marina, which is situated against the backdrop of Mount Esja and Faxafloi Bay, near a number of local attractions.
The property offers amenities including the largest cocktail bar in the country.
