BA confirms more London City flights

British Airways (BA) has announced details of six new routes that will be available to travellers from London City Airport during the forthcoming summer holiday season.
The first new service will complete the airline's Balearic Islands portfolio by providing a link to Mahon in Menorca, following the successful launch of flights to Palma de Mallorca and Ibiza from the Docklands base two years ago.
People planning a trip to France will be able to travel from London City to Angers in the Loire valley and Quimper in Brittany with BA this summer.
New flights to Venice in Italy, Aberdeen and the Isle of Man complete the new range.
Airline spokesman Luke Hayhoe said: 'We are very excited about the launch of the new routes, most of which are completely new destinations for London City Airport and offer our customers even more holiday choices.'
BA now flies from the base to 23 destinations in the UK, Europe and the United States.
