Construction starts on Hakkasan Las Vegas

Construction is underway on a new upmarket dining experience in Las Vegas.
Hakkasan Las Vegas, located at the bus intersection between Las Vegas Boulevard South and Tropicana Avenue, will feature a stylish lounge and its own nightclub.
It is based at the site of the former Studio 54 and will span approximately 75,000 sq ft over five storeys.
According to Hakkasan, the new Las Vegas establishment is an evolution for the brand due to the inclusion of the nightclub, but the venue's design will still take the lead from the company's flagship eatery in London.
Niall Howard, chief executive of Hakkasan, said: 'With Las Vegas as our fourth opening in the US, we are pleased to be part of such an established city, known widely for its impeccable dining and entertainment offerings.'
As well as its restaurants in Miami, New York, Las Vegas and London, the chain has establishments in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Mumbai.
