EasyJet boosts frequency on Belfast routes

EasyJet will soon provide more travel options for people based in Northern Ireland by increasing the frequency of services from Belfast International Airport to three of the UK's major cities.

Additional daily flights to Edinburgh will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, while Manchester will be served by extra daily connections on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.

People heading from Belfast to London with easyJet will be offered new flights to Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and Southend airports on weekday mornings and evenings, providing convenient journey times for corporate travellers in particular.

All of the changes will take effect when the airline's 2012-13 winter schedule begins on 28 October.

Commercial manager Ali Gayward said: 'Our aim has always been to make travel easy and affordable and we remain committed to Northern Ireland.

'We are adding these extra flights in response to increasing customer demand for easyJet services.'

The forthcoming winter season will also see the launch of the carrier's first route from Belfast International to Birmingham.
