Boeing will this month present its 787 Dreamliner in action at the Farnborough International Airshow.

The manufacturer has announced that its new aircraft will take part in a series of flying demonstrations at the event, which will be held just outside London from 9 to 15 July.

A Dreamliner in Qatar Airways livery will be on static display from 9 to 11 July, while Korean Air will showcase its newest Boeing 737-900ER from 9 to 12 July.

Other highlights for visitors to look out for will include an appearance by the Super Hornet fighter.

Tom Downey, senior vice president of Boeing Communications, said the show will feature products and services from the company's commercial, defence, space and security businesses.

'We're looking forward to the opportunities the show provides to meet with customers, partners and other stakeholders,' he added.

The public days of the Farnborough International Airshow on 14 and 15 July will include displays of aerobatics, vintage aircraft and some of the fastest planes in the sky.
