Monarch launches first television ad campaign

Monarch Airlines has this week launched its first television advertising campaign, promoting its range of destinations across Europe and the Mediterranean to customers in the Midlands and north-west regions.
A 30-second TV promotion made by creative agency iris Worldwide will air for the next three weeks during broadcasts of popular programmes such as Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Superstar Auditions.
The campaign will also include social media and digital elements, as well as press, outdoor and online advertising.
Monarch has launched the initiative to boost awareness of its range of services, which includes flights to Spain, Turkey, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Croatia and other popular holiday countries.
Travellers based in central and northern England can access the carrier's network from Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford and Manchester airports.
