Aer Lingus announces new winter offerings
11 Jul 2012

Aer Lingus has revealed that its passengers will have access to a range of new services and increased frequencies during the 2012-13 winter season.

Flights to Stockholm and Verona from Dublin will continue throughout the period owing to their ongoing popularity, as will a connection between Cork and Brussels.

The airline will also provide access to Copenhagen, Bordeaux and Venice for Irish travellers interested in visiting some of Europe's most scenic cities and regions over the winter.

Frequencies will be increased on routes to major cities such as Berlin, Vienna and Amsterdam, while additional flights to Tenerife and Lanzarote will be available for sun seekers.

Declan Kearney, the carrier's director of communications, said: 'This announcement supports Aer Lingus' strategy to provide greater access and choice for Irish customers with over 1,100 flights a week to and from Ireland.'

The airline flies to Dublin from UK airports including London Heathrow, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh.
