New luxury travel show coming to London

Britons planning to treat themselves to a luxury holiday next year or further in the future could have more experiences to choose from as a result of a new event in London.
The Luxury Show London will be held for the first time at the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea on 1 and 2 May 2013.
It will provide a platform for hotels, resorts, venues and other companies to showcase their products to various potential customers and intermediaries.
Up to 3,000 buyers are expected to attend over the course of the two days.
Ian Dockreay of event organiser Luxury Shows said: 'We believe this will be an ideal marketplace for the industry to develop new business relationships in this relatively buoyant part of the market.'
The company pointed out that the luxury end of the travel industry has shown 'remarkable resilience' during the recession, but companies are still looking for more cost-effective ways to promote their products and services.
