Qatar Airways signs frequent flyer deal with hotel chain

Qatar Airways has signed a new agreement with hospitality chain Millennium & Copthorne Hotels providing more benefits for members of its frequent flyer programme.
The partnership gives Privilege Club members the opportunity to earn 500 additional miles for every qualifying stay at one of over 120 Millennium & Copthorne properties across Asia, Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa.
Qatar Airways' frequent flyers can use Qmiles to access benefits such as upgrades across the airline's network of 118 business and leisure destinations.
Other exclusive advantages of the scheme include priority check-in and boarding, additional baggage allowances and unlimited lounge access.
At last month's Farnborough Air Show in Hampshire, Qatar Airways won the Skytrax Airline of the Year award for the second consecutive year and was also named the best carrier in the Middle East for the seventh year running.
The company recently announced a number of planned extensions to its route network from Doha, including new flights to Chicago, Belgrade, Warsaw and Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
