Those flying into Dallas in the USA won't be able to miss the newest attraction on the skyline after SkyScreamer opened at the Six Flags Over Texas theme park.

At 400ft high, it is the world's tallest swing ride and certainly not for the faint of heart, with only thin metal link chains supporting each rider.
The attraction spins riders in a 124ft-wide circle at 35mph, providing them with 360-degree views of downtown Dallas and the Cowboys football stadium.

'We take great pride in offering the best, the biggest, and the most innovative attractions for our guests,' said Steve Martindale, Six Flags Over Texas park president. 'This ride experience will be unlike any other tower swing ride ever built. If you want to go big, then ride the Texas SkyScreamer.'

The Star Flyer chair-o-planes at Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen are the tallest in northern Europe, taking riders up to a height of more than 260ft. ADNFCR-408-ID-801590892-ADNFCR
