British Airways boosts Bronze frequent flyers programme

British Airways has revealed changes to its frequent flyer programme which will see services enhanced for passengers holding a Bronze card.

The airline has made the change in the hope of giving such customers extra value, as well as encouraging greater brand loyalty.

Executive Club Bronze members will now be able to take advantage of priority boarding, just like passengers holding First, Club World and Club Europe passes - although Bronze ticket holders will board after these clients.

'We believe it will give our Bronze cardholders greater recognition and encourage Executive Club loyalty, as well as give them a head start on every flight they make,' comments managing director of brands and customer experience at British Airways Frank van der Post.

He explains that priority boarding is something that is highly valued by the carrier's premium clientele.

And with the school holidays now underway, the airline is likely to see an upswing in passenger numbers. Indeed, the Association of British Travel Agents recently revealed that some 2m people are expected to travel during the summer break, with Spain being the most popular destination among UK holidaymakers.ADNFCR-408-ID-801617912-ADNFCR
