Inventor's pants holiday idea

Inventor's pants holiday idea

It's a problem every holidaymaker has faced: where to store your keys and money when you want to go for a dip in the sea or the swimming pool.

But now a 26-year-old Australian inventor thinks he has developed the perfect solution: Adventure Underwear.

Perth resident Nigel Clifford's 'pants' idea features two airtight pockets that are waterproof up to 60m (200ft).

'Before I went travelling ... I was warned about pickpockets and thieves by all my friends,' the entrepreneur told Metro.co.uk.

'So I made my first prototype pair of underwear before leaving for South America and kept my passport, cash and credit card in it at all times.'

He is now working on a women's version, but will most likely have to ask someone else to test the Merino wool briefs before they go on the market this autumn, when summer starts Down Under. ADNFCR-408-ID-801626613-ADNFCR
