Crouch End in north London is gearing up for the capital's first-ever digital food festival this October.

While this might not sound very appetising, the digital element of the event is merely designed to allow visitors to find the area's best eateries by way of the Crouch End Project App.

The app will be supported by content on the Crouch End Project website and various social media platforms.

'We're so excited to bring London's first-ever digital food festival to Crouch End and we’re delighted to share our sensational top foodie picks with new visitors,' commented Clare Richmond, director of Speakto, the town centre marketing company behind the event.

Highlights of the leafy suburb's gastronomic scene include the fresh sushi and sashimi served up at the Fuji Foods takeaway, the artisan ice cream made at Riley and the South African Biltong beef smoked on the premises of Morley Butchers. ADNFCR-408-ID-801642327-ADNFCR
