Free Wi-Fi for some Regent Seven Seas passengers
2 Oct 2013

Cruise-goers aboard Regent Seven Seas vessels will be given up to 500 minutes of Wi-Fi usage completely free of charge, provided they are booked into concierge level or above.

According to the company, this will mean a significant number of guests will be eligible for the privilege, as two-thirds of its staterooms are concierge class and above.

The measure will be introduced in an effort to promote Regent Seven Seas' upgrade of its wireless internet capabilities aboard its vessels, which should be complete in time for the start of 2014.

Existing routers and modems will be swapped for newer technology on all ships, allowing for speedier internet browsing.

The number of free minutes guests will be entitled to will depend on the length of the voyage, although those in concierge cabins will have the option to purchase an unlimited package at half the price of a standard package.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises said the move is in line with its aim to include a variety of amenities in its basic cruise fare.ADNFCR-408-ID-801645008-ADNFCR
