Pawn shop tops list of Vegas sights
26 Nov 2013

In a city of extremes, you'd expect something a little more outlandish than a pawn shop to top a poll of favourite Las Vegas sights.

However, the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop is no ordinary retailer, having featured in the History TV show 'Pawn Stars'. Thanks to its TV exposure, the shop now attracts queues of people wanting to take a look inside.

Second in the USA Today/10Best readers' poll was far more conventional Sin City: the Bellagio's famous dancing fountains, which are synchronised to music.

Third place was taken by the mock-up canals complete with gondolas at the Venetian, with the Fremont neon Street Experience in fourth and the Palazzo Atrium Display in fifth.

The iconic 'Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas' came in sixth; the Bellagio Conservatory in seventh; the Stratosphere Tower in eighth; the Wynn's Lake of Dreams in ninth; and finally, the Volcano at the Mirage in tenth, thanks to its spectacular eruption display. ADNFCR-408-ID-801665297-ADNFCR
