Luxury cat hotel opens

If you have a cat, arranging for it to be looked after while you go on holiday can be a real headache.

However, a new venture is hoping to put pet owners' minds at ease by offering to pamper their moggies while they take a break.

Ings Luxury Cat Hotel in Yorkshire has a cat massage service, an a la carte food menu and plasma TVs showing virtual fish tanks and bird scenes.

Restless cats can enjoy indoor climbing trees or take home a memento of their stay by posing for a pet portrait.

Explaining why owners would be willing to pay £15 per night for their cat to relax in a luxury suite, hotel owner Jo Ounsley told the Metro: 'It's for people who just want the confidence in knowing that when they go away on holiday, their pet will have a better break than they will.'ADNFCR-408-ID-801665624-ADNFCR
