Support for Bieber's hotel artwork

A hotel in Australia is campaigning to keep its own piece of Justin Bieber artwork.

The singer has been scolded by Gold Coast City Council for daubing the wall of the QT Gold Coast in Surfers Paradise with spray paint, but the hotel has since come out in defence of Bieber, claiming 'he asked and we said "yes"'.

After Gold Coast mayor Tom Tait described the 19-year-old's behaviour as 'really silly', the QT hotel said: 'We love this wall and everything that it says about our ties with the arts and entertainment communities.'

It added that the 'Believe' singer was 'a lovely young guy'.

The hotel has now started a search for local graffiti artists to add their own paint work to other walls around the complex.

Bieber also landed himself in hot water on the Brazilian leg of his world tour after spray painting a building in Rio. ADNFCR-408-ID-801666153-ADNFCR
