Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines ranked joint top

Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines ranked joint top
16 Dec 2013

Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines have come joint top in a survey of satisfaction among long-haul carriers.

Which? surveyed 12,750 of its members about their experiences of flying in the past year and the two airlines scored 87% each.

These totals were based on a combination of overall satisfaction and the likelihood of recommending the airline to a friend.

The two airlines attained five-star ratings in several categories, including in-flight entertainment, food and drink, punctuality and value for money.

Among short-haul providers, Guernsey-based Aurigny Air Services came first with a score of 87%, ahead of Swiss International Air Lines (82%), Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (79%)  and Turkish Airlines (75%).

Our survey reveals the massive variation in the standard of airlines. Once you've chosen your destination, it pays to pick the airline that will get you there without any dramas,' commented Which? executive director Richard Lloyd. ADNFCR-408-ID-801672731-ADNFCR
