Zambia travellers get single ticket
29 Jan 2014

Those travelling to the African country of Zambia will soon be able to get to the nation and travel by aeroplane within its borders, thanks to a new global ticketing agreement between two major transportation providers.

Global connector Emirates and domestic carrier Proflight Zambia confirmed the agreement today (29 January) with the arrangement to allow for seamless connections to and from eight destinations including Ndola, Livingstone, Mfuwe and Solwezi.

The news will be welcomed by tourists particularly as it will make attractions such as the Victoria Falls more accessible, while business customers will enjoy easier transportation to important cities such as the Copper belt metropolis Ndola.

"This agreement will undoubtedly provide new travel opportunities for their customers, as well as put Proflight and Zambia firmly on the international aviation map," commented Captain Philip Lemba, Proflight director of government and industry affairs.

Customers taking advantage of the new arrangement will receive a range of added benefits, such as special fares to domestic destinations and the same baggage allowance on both flights.ADNFCR-408-ID-801687963-ADNFCR
