Airline to offer on board beer tasting
17 Feb 2014

Passengers flying with Alaska Airlines' sister carrier Horizon Air on services from Anchorage to Fairbanks and Kodiak from 3 March will have the chance to partake in a spot of beer tasting.

The airline has teamed up with the Silver Gulch Brewing & Bottling Company from Alaska to offer passengers over the age of 21 free third-of-a-pint samples of its Old 55 Pale Ale after 11am.

'This continues our tradition of serving products made in the communities we proudly serve,' commented Marilyn Romano, Alaska Airlines' regional vice-president.

'Silver Gulch is a successful local business based in the Fairbanks area, and we're excited to offer their beer on our Q400 flights within Alaska.'

Those who develop a taste for the brew during their flight can pick up stainless steel canteens filled with Silver Gulch beer at the brewery's restaurant in the C Concourse at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. ADNFCR-408-ID-801694202-ADNFCR
