Tourism Australia launches new campaign
21 Mar 2014

The Australian tourism authority has launched a new campaign in a bid to give tourists a taste of what they can expect on a holiday Down Under.

Indeed, some of the most famous chefs are being enlisted to help international tourists gain an insight into what food lovers will be able to enjoy in Australia.

The list of internationally renowned chefs include India's Sanjeev Kapoor, Canada's John Placko and Hong Kong's Nicholas Tse.

In addition to the great sun and surf on offer, Tourism Australia is keen to emphasise that the food on offer ranks among one of the biggest attractions.

"Food and wine is a huge focus for us this year in our international marketing, as we seek to more aggressively play a drawcard which we've perhaps up to now undersold," commented Tourism Australia chief marketing officer Nick Baker.

He added that Tourism Australia is currently working on a number of major food and wine-related broadcast programmes to attract people from an international market.ADNFCR-408-ID-801705685-ADNFCR
