A tourism minister in Australia's northern territories has suggested that a planned visit made by Prince William and Kate Middleton will have a hugely positive impact on the local industry.

The royal couple is, of course, among the most famous couples mount for the economy, it has been claimed by minister Matt Conlan.

Their visit is particularly relevant as Britain is the largest international market for the region, which is home to some spectacularly beautiful sights.

On an annual basis, the area typically receives around 35,000 visitors from this part of the world - and it is hoped that this figure could spike in the coming months, in light of the royal influence.

"We predict the royal visit will provide us with a wealth of material and opportunity to tap into our key market of the United Kingdom and entice more Brits to holiday in the Northern Territory," he commented.ADNFCR-408-ID-801706576-ADNFCR
