If you’re currently planning a holiday to the historic and dynamic city of London, then you’re probably busy drawing up a plan of must-do activities while you’re away.

Of course, with so much to see and do in the capital, it is literally impossible fitting all the things you would like to do into the space of a few days.

There are, however, a few things that you simply must take the time to enjoy – and here we’re going to explore one of these: the London theatre scene.

The city is home to an incredible selection of theatres and here, we’re going to look at some of the best shows that are currently being staged in London.

The Book of Mormon

Crested by the makes of South Park, this show has broken records on both sides of the Atlantic – and it is easy to understand why.

It tells the tale of two missionaries who are sent to a remote part of Africa where they try to teach the book of Mormon.

However, their plan is soon derailed when they learn that the local population is more concerned by everyday matters, such as famine and the Aids epidemic.

The Lion King

This show has been on the London stage for more than a decade but has lost none of its initial appeal.

It features many of the tunes that made the hit movie of the same name so popular and if you’re travelling with young children, this is one show that cannot be missed.

The array of colours and sounds is sure to spark their imagination – and makes it thoroughly worth the cost involved.

This show charts the incredible career of the Prince of Pop, Michael Jackson, who continues to garner plenty of attention five years after his death.

If you’re a big-time Jackson fan, you cannot afford to spurn this opportunity.ADNFCR-408-ID-801723304-ADNFCR
