The city is home to Broadway, where there are always loads of shows being staged, some of which feature the biggest names from the entertainment industry.

Alternatively, you could see one of the city's top sports teams in action, such as the New York Knicks or the Yankees, one of the country's most iconic brands.

But what if this doesn't sound like your idea of fun? Well, you needn't worry, as there is plenty to keep you occupied in this ever-popular tourist destination.

Among the great cultural events being staged in the city over the next few months is a new exhibition at the Guggenheim.

Entitled Under the Same Sun: Art from Latin America Today, this exhibition runs until October and tells the story of repressive governments and social inequality in South America.

Organised by Pablo Leon de la Barra, Guggenheim UBS MAP curator, the show is sure to further your knowledge of life in South America over the last few decades and the impressive artworks are sure to capture your imagination.

Under the Same Sun: Art from Latin America Today is the second of three shows and it has been announced that the Guggenheim UBS MAP Global Art Initiative will soon move to two additional international venues.

There are loads of alternative museums and exhibitions to enjoy in the city, meaning that there is plenty of opportunity to make your time in New York one that you will never forget.ADNFCR-408-ID-801724323-ADNFCR
