There's still time to book flights to Paris to see the exhibition 'Birth of a Museum: Louvre Abu Dhabi' in the city.

The show, which began in May, features a range of pieces which are part of UAE museum Louvre Abu Dhabi's collection.

It runs until July 28th this year in the Napoleon Hall of the Paris Louvre, a museum famed for its stunning architecture and fascinating exhibits.

This comes some time before Louvre Abu Dhabi actually opens to the public, something due to happen next December - meaning people who attend this show will see the exhibits before they ever go on display in the forthcoming cultural venue.

Some 150 highlights from the Abu Dhabi museum collection are featured in the Paris show  - such as a 3,000 year-old Iranian bracelet depicting lions and pieces by artists including Magritte and Manet. The admission price is 13 euros.

Paris is one of the international cities which it's fastest to get to from the UK, and boasts a huge array of excitement and culture - from major landmarks you will already know about, such as The Louvre and Eiffel Tower, to more obscure - but still exciting - attractions you may not have come across yet.ADNFCR-408-ID-801729980-ADNFCR
