Emile Bernard exhibition planned for Paris

Emile Bernard exhibition planned for Paris
16 Jul 2014

French artist Emile Bernard is set to be the subject of a new exhibition in the art-filled city of Paris. The show will be at the Musée national de l'Orangerie from September 17th this year to January 5th 2015.

The event has been put together by the Kunsthalle Brême and the Museums of Orsay and Orangerie, and will be at the Kunsthalle between February and June next year.

The Orangerie Museum is in easy walking distance from a variety of other Parisian art venues, such as The Louvre and Les Arts Decoratifs museum on rue de Rivoli.

Bernard lived between 1868 and 1941, and a portrait of him by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec can be seen in the National Gallery in London.

Paris is home to much more than visual art venues, of course, with attractions like the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie offering a different sort of visitor experience in the city.ADNFCR-408-ID-801735797-ADNFCR
