Marilyn Monroe

Bowie and Monroe waxworks arrive at Grevin Prague
21 Jul 2014

Grevin Praha, the wax museum in Prague, has announced that Marilyn Monroe and David Bowie are both now among its range of wax sculptures.

Monroe, one of the best known film stars of the 20th century, starred in a range of famous flicks before her untimely death in 1962.

The star of Some Like it Hot and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is shown at Grevin Prague in a floor length gold gown, hands confidently behind her back.

Bowie, meanwhile, sports a figure-hugging silver outfit and striking stage make-up. He's famed for hits like Starman and Life on Mars, and released his most recent LP just last year.

Grevin has promised that it will introduce two more waxworks, both of Czech celebs, at the start of September.

The famed waxwork brand also has branches in Paris, France and Montreal, Canada. Waxwork fans will also want to check out the branches of Madame Tussauds, which can be found in various locations around the world.ADNFCR-408-ID-801736673-ADNFCR
