Rembrandt exhibition at the National Gallery
24 Jul 2014

Starting October 15th, London's National Gallery will be presenting 'Rembrandt: The Late Works', an exhibition that will be on show in the capital until January 18th next year.

It's planned that the show, in the Sainsbury Wing of the museum, will include around 20 drawings, 30 prints and 40 paintings.

The focus is on the artist's last years as a painter, and the show is said to offer the first in-depth exhibition on this subject.

Among the works on show will be several self portraits by Rembrandt, including two from the last years of the artist's life.

The exhibition, for which full price entry is £18 (or £16 without a donation), is set to be open between 10am and 6pm every day other than Friday, when it will close at 9pm. Last entry is 45 minutes before close.

Until September 21st, The National Gallery is home to 'Building the Picture: Architecture in Italian Renaissance Painting', a free exhibition in the Sunley Room.ADNFCR-408-ID-801737577-ADNFCR
