Madame Tussauds London: Singer Cheryl's waxwork given new look
30 Jul 2014

Madame Tussauds London has re-styled its waxwork of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini (as pop star Cheryl Cole is now known, having recently married).

Cheryl has just scored a number one single with her track Crazy Stupid Love, which comes after past singles Fight for This Love, Promise This and Call My Name hit the top spot, too.

Cheryl is also famously a judge on talent show The X Factor, as well as a past member of 'Sound of the Undersound' singing girl band, Girls Aloud.

Madame Tussauds says that it's given its Cheryl wax sculpture, first made in 2010, a new appearance. Cheryl's clothes and hairstyle have been swapped for Something New.

Of the singer, Matthew Clarkson, Madame Tussauds' marketing manager has said: "She's been favouring a lot of skinny trouser and tunic combos in her appearances at the recent judges auditions [for X Factor] so we've taken our inspiration from that look".

On The X Factor in the past, Cheryl has mentored acts like Alexandra Burke and Joe McElderry.ADNFCR-408-ID-801738704-ADNFCR
