Osaka Lego Discovery Centre Planned

Osaka Lego Discovery Centre Planned
4 Aug 2014

There's set to be a Legoland Discovery Centre venue in Osaka, Japan before too long. A similar centre is already in place in Tokyo, and the new one in Osaka is planned to open in Spring next year at Tempozan Market Place Mall.

The announcement was made at the end of last month by Merlin Entertainments and Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan.

The centre will be aimed at kids aged three to ten and their families, and people attending will be able to enjoy an interactive visit for around two or three hours.

There will be several different play areas, model making classes, a 4D cinema and more. One feature will be a Lego Miniland, which will feature well known Osaka buildings.

"Given the popularity of the Center in Tokyo which opened last year, we are confident people will also love the attraction in Osaka," Merlin’s Midway Attractions Operating Group's managing director, Glenn Earlam, said.

It comes after it was announced that a Legoland theme park is set to open in Nagoya come 2017.ADNFCR-408-ID-801739649-ADNFCR
